Recolor an image from earlier in the year

Good morning all, today I'me sharing my DT project, the last one of the year. Make it colorful's final
theme for 2011 is to recolor an image from earlier in the year and I decided to use the lovely gurguss girl with her fox.
Make it crafty images used are from the Winter Object collection, the large and small pine tree and the winter fence. For the tree's I used a tiny foliage stamp from Art Impressions and distress inks colors scattered straw, shabby shutter and peeled paint. Then lightly sprinkled heat it up holographic and seafoam white over the tree's and heated up from the back so as not to blow it all away.
For the girl I went with the pleats and folds coloring technique I have been learning over the last few months.
You can find Zoe's wonderful tutorial on this technique HERE

The challenge this week is running for a month because of the Christmas holidays, hop over to the gallery to check out all the beautiful samples from my team mates and I hope you will join us....

Thanks for visiting me today
xXx

  5. This is lovely Vicky! Great folds on her coat - really brings the image to life. Hope all is well with you all and that you are nearly ready for Christmas. I'm in denial and still think it's about August and there's weeks and weeks to go before I even have to start thinking about it! Talk about lost the plot!!! Jo x
